Who keeps the CityRacks clean? CityRacks are designed to sparkle with a minimum of cleaning effort. However, it will be necessary for regular cleaning and occasional polishing to keep the finish like new. The frequency of this service will depend on the conditions at each location and how often the CityRacks are marked with graffiti or stickers.

Are CityRacks hard to keep clean? Each CityRack is coated with a state of-the-art powder finish. To this coating are added UV inhibitors for sun protection and slip agents to make dirt, graffiti, stickers, and paint easy to remove.

Who repairs the CityRacks when they break? CityRacks are tough and designed to last for years under normal usage, however, nothing is unbreakable. The most common repairs can be accomplished by an unskilled worker with simple hand tools. Another benefit of the modular nature of the publication inserts, is that they allow for an easy exchange. Severely damaged publication inserts can be exchanged with new ones in a matter of minutes.

What keeps the publication inserts in the CityRack? Each publication insert slides easily into the CityRack housing. Once in place a simple padlocked is installed inside the publication insert to lock it in. The placement of this lock makes it easy to access with the proper key but very difficult to tamper with.

Who installs the CityRacks? City Solutions can install your CityRacks provided the location is on structurally sound, fully cured concrete, such as a city sidewalk. We can also provide an instruction book and video for self installations.

How are CityRacks shipped? City Solutions ships your carefully boxed CityRacks, fully insured on a common carrier. In some cases, when City Solutions is installing the CityRacks, we can also deliver them.

Do CityRacks come in other colors? Yes CityRacks can be any color in the rainbow. However, City Solutions’ experience causes us to give the CityGreen color our highest recommendation. This color, a very dark green shot through with a black vein, is not only attractive, but extremely durable. It also seems to blend in with most streetcapes and existing street furniture and fixtures.

How long does it take to get CityRacks? We can usually fill your order within 30 to 60 days.

How do we get started? The first thing you will need to do is decide where you want to use CityRacks to replace existing newsrack clutter. Usually, there will be several locations where more than one or two newsracks are placed in a long row or in a jumble around a pole or light standard.
